Men's basketball set to face off against St. Clair in Opening Round of Region Tournament
Auburn Hills, MI- Oakland Community College men's basketball is back in the postseason as they'll host St. Clair County Community College to kick off the NJCAA Great Lakes District A Championship on Tuesday, March 4th at 7pm.
After compiling a record of 20-8 overall and a 9-5 record in conference, the Owls would go onto finish 3rd in the MCCAA East. This is a vast improvement compared to last year's last place finish in the East, which consisted of a 5-22 overall record and 2-12 conference record.
The Owls will have their work cut out for them however against the Skippers. St. Clair comes in just behind the Owls in the standings, but have 2 wins on the year against OCC. The men will look to break the streak against the Skippers on Tuesday night, where the winner will go onto face the #1 seed Hocking on Thursday, March 6th at Mott Community College.
