Oakland Community College names Colleen Szakacs as Women's Volleyball Head Coach

Auburn Hills, MI- Oakland Community College Athletics has officially named Colleen Szakacs as the new Head Coach of the Women's Volleyball program at OCC.

Szakacs has spent the last 6 years as the Girls Varsity Head Coach at Bishop Foley Catholic High School, where she amassed a combined record of 77-71 while taking home a District Championship in 2023, as well as appearing in the District Championship game on 3 other occasions.

On top of her high school experience, Szakacs has also spent time in the AAU circuit, where she was the Head Coach for the Unified Volleyball Club, and coached girls from ages 13-16.

Szakacs earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as Exercise Science from Concordia University Ann Arbor in 2016.
